Green Deal Assessment

Make your home smart in energy usage!

The Green Deal Assessment is the first step into the Green Deal scheme.  When you book a Green Deal Assessment, a Green Deal Assessor will take a complete look at both the energy efficiency of your home and how you use energy inside your home (e.g. how many people live in the house and how much the heating system is used).  The survey will help you to understand your home’s energy efficiency, assess how you and the people living there use it and recommend energy saving improvements that are right for your home.

Green Deal Assessment

How Does The Assessment Work?

1. We will use standardized software to identify what energy efficiency changes you can make and what the financial savings would be.

2. We will outline how the Green Deal works and how the report can best be used to obtain a quote for Green Deal finance.

3. We will identify which improvements are likely to be cost effective.

4. We will produce a Green Deal Advice Report outlining your options, this report consists of both an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and an Occupancy Assessment.

If our Customer requesting Assessment is a tenant we need the written consent of the landlord to assess the property and to attach the Green Deal charge to the electricity meter.

If you are ready to do the first step into the Green Deal scheme, call on 02392 833 711.

EPC Survey

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are needed whenever a property is: built, sold or rented.  Property Owners must obtain an EPC for potential buyers and tenants before marketing your property for sale or rent.

Call us to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) survey and find out more about the energy efficiency of your home.

After a survey we will issue you the Energy Performance Certificate for your home. In the EPC you will have:

* Estimated Energy Costs of your home: a simple chart showing the current costs for lightning, heating and hot water of your home and the potential future costs.

* Energy Efficiency rating, showing the current and the potential environmental impact of your home.

* Top actions you can take to save money and make your home more efficient, including recommended measures, the costs, the saving and if they are available with Green Deal.

* The summary of this home’s energy performance related features.

* A small explanation if your property has the opportunity to benefit from Green Deal.
